Winter Wonderland in Raleigh

In Raleigh, we rarely get snow and rarely get snow in December.  So as you can imagine, when the weather channel was reporting we were expected to get many inches come Sunday I was doubtful.

Friday: We stayed in and enjoyed being in comfy cozy clothes watching Christmas movies.  Anne-Stuart came over to watch the corny and funny movies that come out every year.

Saturday: We ran some errands and shopped for angel tree purchases.  Later we decided to head to Winston's Grill off False of the Neuse for dinner and drinks.  They always decorate for Christmas and it is so pretty!  I think this is our new "spot" as we both love everything about it from the food, drinks and atmosphere.

Sunday:  We woke up to snow and it was so pretty to look at. It continued to snow before it turned to rain and we got a total of 8 inches of pretty white snow. We baked cookies and ate off our Christmas dishes which I love! My dad lost power so he came over and hung out for the night until his power was restored.

Monday: We still had alot of snow so both Keith and I stayed home as the office was closed. We took full advantage of staying in our PJs all day.
