Rose Party - Girls Night In

Anne-Stuart and I thought it would be fun to get all of the girls together for a Rose Tasting Party.  Each girl brought a bottle of their favorite Rose for us all to try.  I don't' think I ever found a favorite but I am not picky when it comes to Rose.  We had a great time catching up as it has been a little while since we were all together.

My mom completed her first sprint triathlon and I completed my second. It was a hot day but we didn't die and had a great weekend.

Friday: We stayed in and watched game 5 of the NBA Finals.  Unfortunately, the Cleveland Cavilers couldn't pull out the W.
Saturday: We got our early walks in before it got to hot and headed to our pool with friends to enjoy the awesome weather.  Later, we all met up at Lynwood Grill and continued the fun.

Sunday: It was race day, and we were ready to finish the race.  My mom did fantastic and I was so proud of her.   After we finished the triathlon we headed to the food truck rodeo in downtown, Raleigh.

Restaurant Week - Parkside Edition

Keith and I try to go to restaurant week every time the triangle area has it because it forces us to try new places for a good price.  Although, we technically have been to Parkside for drinks before but never eaten there it was new in that way.

Rex Hospital Open

This past weekend, we didn't have many plans but we managed to get in a ton of steps and enjoy the outside.

Friday: Keith hung out with Chris at Lynwood Grill and Hamilton and I stayed in and watched all the shows we wanted to.

Saturday: We headed to the Rex Hospital Open at TPC Wakefield Plantation.  The weather was calling for scattered rain showers so we brought our umbrella just in case.  We got lucky and it only rained for about 20 minutes.  While, I didn't know any of the players it was fun to see golfers who might be on the PGA tour next year.

Sunday: We were able to go to the pool for a couple hours and relax.

Don CeSar Hotel - Photo Session

While we were in Florida we scheduled a photo session for Saturday evening.  We got lucky with the weather during our entire trip and then it started raining as we were in the uber on the way to the location of the photo shoot.  The skies cleared up just as we were going to start our session and it ended being perfect because no one was in the background of our photos. The back drop of the Don CeSar Hotel was so beautiful!
