Cooper River Bridge Run

Last year, my mom and I did the Cooper River Bridge Run for the first time and just fell in love.  The race draws almost 40,000 people to Charleston, South Carolina and still manage to keep everything under control and organized.

Friday: Keith & I drove to South Carolina after work.  I had to be up early the next morning at the race, so I decided to stay with my mom Friday night.

Saturday: RACE DAY! The weather was supposed to be rain all day which would not be fun to run in, instead it couldn't have been better.  It poured all Friday night and stopped around 7am.  I was so happy it was such a gorgeous day. After the race, we headed to lunch to celebrate we finished.

Sunday: We all headed to church together and then hit the road to head back home to North Carolina. Overall such a wonderful weekend!
